Pregnancy yoga classes are held at Svaha yoga (www.svahayoga.com), Willlemstraat 113, located in the Jordaan in Amsterdam. Classes are Wednesdays from 12:00-13:30 and are open classes, not a course, so you can come whenever you want. Please email or phone me if you plan on coming. Classes cost 12.50 euro per class.

Pregnancy is such a beautiful time and opportunity to go within... To get in touch with your Self and this new Being growing inside of you. Eating right and having the right lifestyle during these special times influences the way you experience your pregnancy greatly. Getting the appropriate nutrients through food is one thing, but also how your emotional body is fed must be addressed.
As the body is undergoing great transformation, and preparing for quite a physical challenge, the body must be prepared appropriately. It needs to be strong, yet relaxed.
Through yoga, we build the body and also learn how to relax the body in deeper ways, allowing for you and baby to grow and adjust to the changes happening within.
By practicing yoga, meditation, breathing exercises and other techniques for relaxation, the body and the mind will be strong and ready to receive our new little wonders in our life!
